This surface family was discovered by Rossman, Thayer, and Wohlgemuth.Like the Wei surface, it requires to solve a 1-dimensional period problem. The surface images below are rotated so that the ends have vertical limiting normal. Near one limit, the surface looks like a single periodic Scherk with 8 ends and added handle.
